Michael J. Chreky is the creative director of the salon’s elite team of hair stylists.  Michael is an expert hair stylist and hair color specialist with over 20 years of experience.  Michael’s passion is color.  As an artist, he creates breathtaking color possibilities for his clients.

With J. Michael The Salon, Michael continues his father’s legacy as an accomplished stylist and salon owner.  Ness Chreky began his professional hair stylist journey in the 1960s and owned two successful salons in Georgetown, DC.  Michael and his siblings have inherited Ness’s passion for hair and dedicated work ethic; and with over 15  members of the family in the business, it’s clear that styling great hair comes naturally!

Michael’s clients are his number one priority.  Michael is most comfortable behind the chair, not in the spotlight, so that he can focus his full attention on making his clients look fantastic and feel great.
